The Worker is offering afternoon workshops for kids!
A great way to unwind and develop and encourage their creative side, making things from clay is fun, expressive and rewarding.
Your child will get a chance to develop some skills in hand-building clay- creating coils,
slabs and pinch pots, and will learn the basics of ceramic glazing and painting techniques.

Each Workshop has three classes. Classes will be weekly, on Wednesday afternoons,
in sets of 3 and will be guided but will not restrict their imaginations!
The first two classes in the workshop will be making and the third will be spent
glazing their work.
Their pieces will then be fired again and ready for
collection 1-2 weeks after their third lesson.
Workshops are themed. You can attend any at any of the three workshops,
no experience or prior class necessary but students need to be able to attend all three consecutive weeks of the workshop. Workshops are $90 for the three classes.
All workshops include the tutor’s instructions, equipment, materials and firing costs.
Max 6 students each class. Age 5-12 yrs (unless otherwise arranged )
